What is JSF ?
- JSF stands for Java Server Faces. It is Java based web application framework. It simplifies the development of user interface of Java EE application.
- JSF uses JSP i.e. Java Server Pages for its display technology.
- It simplifies building user interface for Java Server Application. Developers of various skill levels can quickly build web applications by: assembling reusable UI components in a page; connecting these components to an application data source; and wiring client-generated events to server-side event handlers.
- JSF is a part of the Java EE standards.
- A JSF application run on a standard web container e.g. TOMCAT
