Real estate investing doesn’t have to be complex. This infographic boils down the key points you need to know about the different ways to invest, how to secure financing, and how to determine your return on investment.

Q2 Trends in Real Estate ===

The first two months of our second quarter have been incredibly busy and exciting! The last time I blogged, we had just announced $50 million in funding from Google Capital, which started a brand-new partnership for us. Since then, I’ve seen key trends emerging in real estate that mirror what we’re doing at eplotting.com.



As the year progresses, residential recovery continues to be slow going. Commercial real estate sales are picking up at a more accelerated pace when compared to residential. In recent months, we’ve had more natural owners of CRE leverage the eplotting.com platform to move non-distressed properties, which matches indications of CRE recovery.



Another key trend I see in both the residential and commercial real estate industry is the increasing impact of mobile on both spaces. People want to be able to conduct business, including real estate transactions, while on the go and that’s why I’m super stoked about our new iPad app!



Our new iPad app is the latest in helping people transact real estate online with confidence. Now our customers can securely search properties, set alerts, manage settings and bid on the go via our app! Just as eplotting.com was one of the first companies to enable actual real estate transactions online (not just searching), we’re one of the first companies to enable our customers to bid and purchase a property without a computer. Now our customers can unchain themselves from their desktops and bring their real estate investment business with them wherever they are.



In addition to our new iPad update, we’ve made major updates to our website to make it easier to navigate, search, and bid. Both the iPad app and the site updates reflect what we’re trying to do as a company to continue to lead the market. We’ve added key technology talent like Tim Morse and Brad Simmons to help take our company to the next level. We’ve got a busy summer lined up with more exciting updates.
