The name of our organization derives its meaning from the roots of ancient Odia culture as Odisha was earlier known as Udra(also known as Udra-Desha).
Winter nights in Odisha touched 9°C this season. While some of us reached for extra blankets, many in our community faced the cold with nothing to keep them warm.
This week, UDRA volunteers walked through those cold nights with a simple mission i.e., to share warmth with those who need it most. Every blanket was folded with care. Every smile exchanged created a moment of connection that goes beyond the cold.
Because true warmth comes from community, unity and love.
