President Володимир Зеленський and I had very productive discussions in Kyiv today. India is eager to deepen economic linkages with Ukraine. We discussed ways to boost cooperation in agriculture, technology, pharma and other such sectors. We also agreed to further cement cultural linkages.

We also had discussions about the ongoing conflict. It is of topmost importance that peace be maintained. A peaceful solution to the conflict is best for humanity.

Had fruitful talks with PM Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia. We took stock of the full range of bilateral ties between our nations and considering the extensive engagements between the two nations, we have decided to elevate our partnership to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Our talks included subjects like defence, industry, FinTech, semiconductors, AI and more. We also discussed ways through which our StartUps can work more closely.

India and Malaysia also look forward to closer cultural linkages. In this context, an Ayurveda Chair will be set up at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman and a Thiruvalluvar Chair will be set up at Universiti Malaya.
