Bruno; It's been 3yrs to the date that you were abruptly snatched away from us with a unfortunate encounter with a venomous snake.
Full of energy and always alert with a gruff bark that would shake and sometimes drop the squirrels from the rafters. I had no worries about intruders as long as you were by me. You were a guard dog, stress pillow, pest control specialist and a good friend that would try to keep me on the straight and narrow. Never in our first year together did I think how big a part of my life you own.
You are still missed, though the overwhelming feeling of sadness and pain of loss has gradually been easier to bare. I've tried replacing your staunch energy and companionship with another furry companion, which has now lead me to have 4 mutts to keep me buzy enough so I don't keep ruminating over your passing. I drowned myself with spirits and the likes to manage the guilt of ..."what if I was there.."
Alas it's the sober remembrance and honor to your memory as a true companion, friend and snuggle buddy that gives closure to it all.
Wherever you are my monkey boy, I hope you are loved, cared for, wanted, happy and healthy and most of all, let to run free for the free spirit you always were. ✨️ 💓
