The Ignite Foundation

The design thinking process of SST 8 has commenced today.

It is structured as a social hackathon where participants identify a problem in their community and use design thinking tools to arrive at solutions and prepare an action plan for the pilot phase of implementation.

Over the next 48 hours, participants will work day and night with mentors and catalysts to refine their problem statement, do problem mapping, solution mapping, and develop a clear action plan.

The process will conclude at the Solutions Festival, happening on 24th December 2025.

The hackathon also includes engagements such as music jams, story circles, open dialogues, and a campfire, to make the process live, immersive, and engaging.
