Anishinte Veedu is a thoughtfully crafted residence designed for a family of four, where spatial planning and climatic responsiveness come together in harmony. The house is developed along a horizontal layout, allowing it to fully engage with the front yard while encouraging a continuous flow of natural breeze throughout the interiors.

The elevation is articulated with a concrete jali, functioning both as a visual element and a passive design strategy that enhances cross-ventilation. This feature ensures that the common areas remain naturally cool and well-ventilated.

A linear courtyard forms the spatial spine of the house, establishing a seamless visual axis from the living to the dining spaces. The living, dining, and stair areas are oriented towards this courtyard, allowing natural light and air to permeate the interiors while creating a calm and uplifting ambience. These semi-public zones are carefully segregated from the private bedroom areas and the kitchen, ensuring a clear and efficient zoning of spaces.

Above the stairwell, a delicately designed grid-like concrete opening invites shifting patterns of sunlight into the home, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow throughout the day.
