📌 Role Overview:
The candidate will work in the Design & Development department and support NPD, VA/VE projects, proto development, and cross-functional coordination.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
• Concept design & final product development
• 3D modeling & 2D manufacturing drawings
• Engineering BOM preparation
• DFM coordination with manufacturing
• Technical documentation (IOM, TDS, Brochures)
• Product certification documentation
• Support costing & new enquiries
✅ Required Skills:
• 2+ Years in Valve / Damper Design
• Experience in Butterfly Valves / Ball Valves preferred
• Strong knowledge of design standards
• Hands-on: AutoCAD, SolidWorks / Solid Edge / Creo, ERP
• Strong mechanical fundamentals
• Good English communication

B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

✅ Development of new products like buckets, platforms, and fabricated components

✅ Preparation of Technical Feasibility Reports (TFR)

✅ Creation and tracking of project timeline charts

✅ Preparation and management of ERP Bill of Materials (BOM)

✅ Creation of DXF files and templates for cutting, bending, and rolling

✅ Designing in-house fixtures, attribute gauges, and pins

✅ New vendor development and price updates in ERP

✅ Monitoring project performance and ensuring timely corrective actions

🔹 Desired Candidate Profile

🎓 Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

💼 Experience: 3 to 7 Years

🏭 Industry: Fabrication, Manufacturing, Sheet Metal Components

🔹 Skills Required

🔧 Proficiency in AutoCAD & Creo

🔧 Strong understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly processes

🔧 Knowledge of welding symbols, fixture design, and heat treatment

🔧 Understanding of 3-2-1 resting, locating, and clamping principles

🔧 ERP knowledge for BOM and PO management

🔧 Excellent problem-solving & project management skills
