I asked AI to replace me as an Instructor?

So I gave it everything I could think of:
• My notes
• My teaching style
• My examples
• My prompts
• Even the way I break down complex concepts

And honestly, the result surprised me.

The explanations were good.
The examples made sense.
The structure was solid.

But one thing was missing.

Experience.
AI could explain a concept.
But it couldn’t tell a student,
“Trust me, I’ve made this exact mistake before.”

It couldn’t share the lessons that come from years of debugging, building projects, teaching hundreds of learners and figuring things out the hard way.

That’s when it hit me:
AI can replicate information.
It can’t replicate lived experience.
As an instructor, that makes me excited not worried.

Because the future isn’t AI or humans.
It’s humans who know how to use AI well.
