On his birthday in heaven,
here's a photographic tattoo, telling stories that help keep you alive in our minds and our hearts.

October 14th
Chandigarh, India

A custom piece for a client who became family.
Keeping in mind how we wanted to inculcate every element in a meaningful composition, that he would connect with, here’s how we, together, designed the perfect tattoo for him:

• The black shaded figure represents the feeling of Enlightenment, or Moksha, which a man achieves by overcoming ignorance and desires.
• The man in the meditative state symbolises that if an ocean can calm itself, so can you.
• The forest spoke to his soul in a language he already knew. Through the branches, we tried to represent physical and spiritual nourishment, transformation and liberation, union and fertility.
• Fire symbolizes many things, including passion, desire, rebirth, eternity, hope and purification.
