The Schedule for 'CodHer' 2017 is here.
Please follow the timeline closely and be present at the Department of Information Science and Technology, 3rd floor lab by 2:30 to start off.

Participants will be provided with food and arrangements for other facilities have been made. Let's have a great hack tomorrow :D

CODhER is back again this month and for an entire day of hacking for the very first time. Join us from 3PM, March 17th at the Department of Information Science and Technology, CEG, Anna University.

This edition's theme for the hackathon also remains open. Participants are free to develop products, projects and applications with your own ideas. There are no specific themes or software requirements. This is to ensure girls from various backgrounds and experiences have the opportunity to present their ideas effectively. P

However, here are a list of RULES that you need to comply with:
• Registration procedures begin at 2:30 PM, please be there on time
• Don't forget to bring your college ID
• Refrain from plagiarism or producing (near) finished products
• Internet access will be provided
• Judges' decision is final

We allow teams of 2 or 3 people. Lone wolfs are most welcome too. PLEASE JOIN US FOR A GREAT HACK!

CODhER is back and we would like to announce that this edition's theme for the hackathon will also remain open. Participants are free to develop products, projects and applications with your own ideas.
However, here is a list of ideas or themes that could serve as the basis or inspiration for your hack.

• City Rescue: A plan to help people or get help, during any natural disaster - like the Chennai Floods.
• Sound Body: An application to warn a person who spends most of his/her day on a computer asking them to do simple exercises and keep the body sound.
• E-Waste/Waste buddy: What if you can sell/share your old plastic, paper, e-waste and pin it to collect them from your doorstep!
• Blood/Organ donation: Have you seen numerous Whatsapp messages about the urgent need of blood for someone? Why not help them with an application ?
• Maternal/Child health: An application to keep track of maternal and child health.Tracking doctor visits, etc.
Lazy Cow: An innovative productivity tracker that stands apart from traditional ones - Helps you stay focused
• Responsible citizens: An application/portal where citizens/locals of a particular area can pin a need and share them. Where locals are also up-voted for the improvement they bring to their locality
• Anti-Junkie - An application which keeps track of your junk food consumption and habits - Warns you and suggests healthy and tasty alternatives.
• Happy Box: An application which is a storekeeper of your happy and beautiful moments.
• In a minute: An application that provides you tips/tricks or anything that can be learnt within a minute.
