I have not had a certain way of playing, as a kid. I have liked free-play always and it is something I like for my daughter too. When I thought of Games as a prompt, given that I am trying to interpret it through Art Deco in the city, I couldn't think of anything else but this lovely vintage play area that was a part of the Dasaprakash complex. It gives me all sorts of nostalgia, playing there, having their famous ice creams, and enjoying the dosas as a little girl with my parents.
Sadly, I did not have enough images of this part of the complex. But a lovely follower, Lynda O'Grady shared these loved details of the building. I can't thank her enough for the wonderful set of pictures that she had shared from back in 2004. The last image is from 2010 right before the complex was demolished..
