I have observed that investors are not utilizing some of the advantages in tax laws. For example, if there were unrealised short term losses, investor should have booked them against short term capital gains already booked and re entered again. We have to check all the compartments - source of capital, investment, portfolio percentages, and taxes also.

Tommorow is last day of trading in this financial year. Look at your long-term, short term gain gains and losses. Look at all your stocks. Decide which one has to get out particularly on the basis of future potential. Don't hesitate to book short term losses against short term gains if stock is not potential in coming year.
