International Dance & Music Festival - 2018
2nd to 8th January, 2018
at Kala Vikash Kendra Auditorium, Cuttack, Odisha, India

This Festival is an annual meet of the Global Classical Dancers in the Land of Odishi ... enhancing the great values of 'Guru-Shishya Parampara.'

Last Date for Registration : 31st. October, 2017
Selection will be communicated to the Applicant within a fortnight.

This week long Festival includes all Styles of Indian Classical Dances : ( Solo, Duet & Group ) -
Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Kathakali,
Odishi, Kathak, Manipuri & Sattriya as well as Contemporary, Creative, Neo-Classical Dance, Vilasini Natyam, Keralanatakam, Kalaripayattu, Rabindrik Nritya, Chhau Dance etc.

Music includes Indian Classical Music - both Vocal & Instrumental :
( Solo, Duet & Group ) -
Hindustani, Karnataki alongwith Odishi, Semi-Classical, Sugam Sangeet, Rabindra Sangeet, Bhakti Sangeet etc.

Western Classical / Folk Dance & Music from foreign countries will also be accepted.

For Registration, we invite Profile / Resume / Bio-data / C.V. ( with Date of Birth ), Postal Address & Contact No. as well as Photographs ( including one close-up ) with high resolution , Brochure and / or You Tube link ( if any ) from the new generation young and talented Indian Classical Dancers, Vocalists and Instrumentalists in the age group between 20 and 40 from any part of India and the World.

Interested Senior most / Veteran Dancers / Exponents / Gurus, will also be specially considered / invited.

All selected Solo / Duet performers shall be honoured with 'Nritya-Mani'
for Dance, 'Sangeet-Mani' for Vocal Music and 'Badya-Mani' for Instrumental Music along with a prestigious Trophy as a mark of distinction.

Few selected Dancers will also be honoured with 'Nritya-Shiromani', 'Nritya-Ratna' and like wise.

In case of Group performance, each Dancer will be awarded with a Plaque of Honour and the Group with a prestigious Trophy.

Dancers must perform with recorded music.
The duration of the performance must not be more than 20 minutes.

All foreign as well as Indian artistes / groups will have to cover total to and fro Travel Expenses upto Cuttack.
The Organisers would not bear any cost on account of Travel & no honorarium or fee will be paid - in case of both Foreign and Indian Performers.

If you so need, the Organisers will provide hospitalilty for one day
( day of the performance ) at Cuttack, which will include
free Accommodation & free Food ( Vegetarian ) with Local Transport to the invited Artiste with our limited resources.

Visitors, Observers, Researchers, Critics and Festival Organisers wishing to attend this International event on a self-paying basis, are also welcome.

Simultaneously for the upcoming and promising artistes / students, we are also organising National Dance & Music Competition ( Classical & Non-Classical ) in the Morning Session during this week-long Festival.
