On 18th of March 2026, a National level seminar on " Historical background, Ideologies and Issues of Women's Movements: An Indian Scenario" was organised in Narajole Raj College. Dept. of Political Science, Philosophy and History jointly organized the seminar. Honorable Principal of Narajole Raj College, Dr. Basudev Mandal presided over the seminar. Prof. Dr. Jhadeswar Ghosh, Professor and HOD of Dept. of Philosophy and Life - World' of Vidyasagar University was present as the keynote speaker of the seminar. Other invited speakers were Prof. Sujaya De Sarkar of Dept. of History of Vidyasagar University and Dr. Budh Bahadur Lama of Sikkim ( Central) University. The seminar was organised in blended mode and students and researchers from different colleges attended the seminar through online. Prof. Baishali Guha, Associate Professor of History and Prof. Supen Sarkar Assistant Professor of Political Science was the joint secretary of the seminar. The entire program was conducted by Prof Mangal Kumar Nayok, Assistant professor of History. Active participation and interactions of the participants with the resources persons made the seminar successful.
