DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COMPLIMENT & COMPLEMENT-

compliment - प्रशंसा करना/ अभिनंदन/ बधाई देना

A compliment is an expression of praise. यदि आप किसी को compliment दे रहे हैं तो इसका अर्थ है कि आप उनकी किसी चीज़ के लिए प्रशंसा कर रहे हैं या उनकी सराहना कर रहे हैं। जैसे -

The airline thanked the passengers for their help and complimented the captain on his initiative. (एयरलाइन ने यात्रियों को उनकी मदद करने के लिए धन्यवाद दिया और कप्तान को उसकी पहल पर बधाई दी।)

I must compliment all of our employees for their support this year. (मुझे हमारे सभी कर्मचारियों को इस वर्ष उनके समर्थन के लिए बधाई देना चाहिए।)

complement - समपूरक (noun)/ पूर्ण कर देना (verb)

A complement enhances something else or goes well with it. complement का अर्थ है कि एक वस्तु दूसरे को साथ मिल कर कुछ बेहतर बनाते हैं जिससे वे दोनों ही और अच्छे लगे। complement किसी वस्तु या व्यक्ति के गुणों में वृद्धि करती है।
