We are pleased to inform you that the Central Board of Irrigation & Power (CBIP), jointly with CIGRE India, is organizing a National Conference on “Best Practices for Underground EHV Power Cables” on 26–27 February 2026 at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi. The conference is being organized under the aegis of CIGRE National Study Committee B1 – Insulated Cables.

Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), in association with INCOLD, is organizing a Study Visit-cum-Training Programme on Pumped Storage Hydropower at Hyderabad on 19–20 February 2026. The programme will comprise a technical session on 19 February and a technical visit to the Pinnapuram Pumped Storage Project on 20 February 2026, a landmark PSH project developed by Greenko Group.

Central Board of Irrigation & Power (CBIP), in association with CIGRE-India and the International Association on Electricity Generation, Transmission and Distribution (Afro-Asian Region), is organizing the 15th National Conference on “Safety, Earthing and Lightning Protection System” on 5-6 February 2026 at the CBIP Conference Hall, New Delhi. This important event is being organized under the aegis of CIGRE National Study Committee B3 on Substations and Electrical Installations.

INCOLD and the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), with the support of the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD), are organizing an International Conference on “Climate-Resilient Dams and Hydropower Infrastructure: Integrating Environmental Sustainability in Planning and Development”, scheduled to be held on 29–30 January 2026 at SCOPE Convention Centre, New Delhi.
