What does self-doubt mean?

𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁 is both a good thing and a bad thing.

It makes you pause before trying something new. But it also stops you from moving out of your comfort zone and taking risks.

Career Switch is a risky proposition. The two biggest risks are the risk of rejection and the risk of disappointment or failure.

If one thinks that “I won’t make it.” “Why will they hire ME” and “I am not qualified/experienced enough”, that lack of confidence will ooze out in any interview conversation and sabotage your chances of getting hired.

1. Research the opportunity thoroughly – role, organization, culture

2. List out all your past experiences, strengths & skills that will come in handy

3. Feel convinced that you have at least 60 -70% readiness for the role

4. Feel convinced that you are a culture fit (very important)

5. List out how you have learned 30-40% new things in every role that you have done. Feel convinced that you are a learner.

6. Write down the Worst Possible Outcome. Feel convinced that you are resilient.
