Gade Innaiah is a long-standing social and democratic activist associated with child welfare initiatives, the Telangana movement, and anti-fascist platforms.

PSA strongly condemns his arrest under UAPA Sections 13 & 39 and BNSS Section 152, reportedly for expressing ideological views. Peaceful political expression and association, in the absence of violence or incitement, cannot be criminalised.

Supreme Court has consistently held that ideology or sympathy alone does not constitute a crime unless directly linked to violent acts. This arrest stands in clear violation of settled constitutional law.

The case reflects a wider NIA pattern of fabricated conspiracy charges used to target social and democratic activists through vague and unsubstantiated allegations. Such misuse of draconian laws enables prolonged incarceration without trial and undermines constitutional safeguards.

PSA demands:

* Immediate release of Gade Innaiah.
* Withdrawal of false UAPA and BNSS charges.
* An end to the misuse of conspiracy provisions to silence dissent.

PSA stands in unwavering solidarity with Gade Innaiah and all those resisting state repression.
