My prayers burn like lamps in heaven’s courts;
I hold this faith within my heart—
surely, You will come.

My wounds, my wounds were very deep,
But deeper still was Jesus' love.
I wondered, Who will see them?
Who will understand my pain?
But Jesus touched them with His hands.
Look, look! The moment Jesus touched them,
Tiny buds of hope began to bloom.
Now my wounds no longer bring me pain;
Instead, they give courage to others.
I no longer need to hide them.
I no longer need
To erase them.
For the scars that once reminded me of suffering
Now remind me of His healing love.
