As is rightly said, Knowledge shared = (Knowledge)^2

The Cybermeet Society, Indraprastha College for Women in collaboration with Abhishek Sansanwal, Founder & CEO, Verved|TEDx Speaker|GSOC’19, Amahi (linkedin.com/in/iswiftshek) organized an engrossing webinar to introduce students with Google Summer of Code, a renowned 3 month-long Open Source Development Program organized by Google. (https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/)

Starting from scratch, he covered the most asked questions like:

• What is GSOC?
• Who should Apply for it?
• How can one begin their Open Source Journey?
• Step by Step and Sure Shot strategy to make into GSOC'21
• How should one decide which organization to choose?
• How should an ideal proposal look like?

Adding to the lane, the session was followed by an overwhelming QnA session where the host answered to the queries of students ranging from guiding them on how to learn skills to how and when to apply for an internship.
The Cybermeet Society wholeheartedly appreciate Abhishek for collaborating with us and giving awesome insights to our students.

"We are so busy watching out what's ahead for us that we don't take time to enjoy where we are."
Urvashi Dhanadia, a meritorious third-year computer science student, has an interesting idea about life which is to learn while having fun. She was an active member of NSS and the Quizzing Society. She participated in many inter-college quizzes such as the Sweden India Quiz.
Her achievements are tremendous and countless. She bagged the 1st position in inter-college competition ‘convergence 3.0’ organised by SRCC in her second year of college, stood 2nd in college Science Quiz, secured 2nd position in Poster Making Competition in JNU, anchored in various college events and was a member of the Facebook Content Writing team in her first year of college .
She's an avid reader and as a result of that, the college library is her go-to place. She's a college hostel resident who loves getting clicked on fests and events. Playing badminton, swimming and horse riding are some of the activities she dearly enjoys. She believes that one should always be eager to learn and along that have fun because life is a blessing worth living.
We wish her all the best for her future endeavours!
At last, she wants all her juniors to know that "being in IP is a blessing in itself because there ain’t no place like my college!"

Shriya Rai
“Not everyone will understand your journey. That’s fine. It’s not their journey to make sense of, it’s yours.”
A girl containing multitudes, defying norms, building self and aspiring to be a pop culture aficionado amidst the clashing scientific world of computer science. Shriya is an avid reader who loves all things artistic. Her mind drove her scientific temperament, as she participated in graphic designing, logo designing, poster designing and video editing while her heart stationed at all things artsy. She loves to dance, read and write and has a keen interest in music and photography too. She maintains an extremely ingenious and creative blog titled ‘Pop the culture’ that features an explosion of colors and a myriad of writings. https://juggersnot.home.blog

As her whirlwind life in IPCW comes to its terminating station, she reminisces about her journey filled with surprises, challenges, laughter and tears. It has been a roller coaster ride and her experiences have shaped her into a particularly confident, instinctive, talented and hard working woman. Her growth is remarkable and she adores her friends that have become a weighty part of this journey.
We wish her all the best for her future endeavors and hope she continues generating this sort of admirable content.

Shriya Rai
