Evidence Governance in AI-Assisted Clinical Practice

At the Health of India Summit 2026, Dr. Prashant Mishra, BMJ Group, spotlighted the importance of strengthening evidence systems as AI becomes more integrated into clinical workflows.

Speaking on Evidence Governance in AI-Assisted Clinical Practice, he emphasized:
“Evidence governance is not about restricting AI. It is about ensuring that medical decisions remain anchored and validated in explainable evidence.”

Dr Mishra also highlighted how BMJ Group advances evidence-based medicine by transforming trusted clinical knowledge into computable intelligence that supports safer, more consistent care decisions at scale.

As AI-powered tools increasingly support diagnosis and treatment pathways, the session reinforced that innovation must be accompanied by transparency, validation, and scientific rigor.

BMJ group has been our esteemed Knowledge Partner for the Health Of India Summit 2026. We are sincerely grateful for their continued support and collaboration in strengthening evidence-based conversations around AI and healthcare.
