Deepak Mukarjee on Harm Reduction
e-ci******es can be life saver for to***co smokers (quit or substitute)
1.Ni****ne containing non-to***co e-ci******es are better than smoking to***co ci******es as they can wean to***co smoker from bad habits and reduce to***co-related diseases.
2.E-ci******es contain ni****ne and its use resembles smoking. Both these characteristics are crucial for the role of e-ci******es in to***co harm reduction, a strategy to reduce harm from risky behaviours using less harmful alternatives.
3.In to***co harm reduction the key is absence of combustion, which is responsible for tar, CO and all of the toxins that a smoker inhales. E-ci******es have no combustion and do not contain to***co and are by far less harmful than smoking and fit perfectly to the definition of to***co harm reduction.
4.Both in US and UK long-term (even life-long) use of ni****ne in the form of pharmaceutical ni****ne replacement therapies as smoking and to***co substitutes has been approved with proven long-term safety.
5.e-ci******es quality and sale need to be regulated with prohibition in < 21 years of age.
Paracetamol is usually effective for mild pain and is easy on the stomach. However, it is toxic to the liver at high doses. The recommended maximum per day is generally set at 4 grams (4,000 milligrams), which is the equivalent of eight extra-strength Tylenol or paracetamol tablets. But that dosage can still cause liver problems for some people. To be safe, aim for 3,000 milligrams or less, and be cautious of mixing multiple products containing paracetamol or acetaminophen, such as a pain reliever and a cold medication or a prescribed narcotic.
