We first designed this house for Mr. Verma 15 years ago, it was a beautiful home, full of life and character. Coming back to it and redesigning it again has been a deeply emotional experience. It’s never easy to see something you once created change or disappear; there’s a certain attachment that stays. But at the same time, watching it take on a new life, with a fresh design, makes it all worthwhile. The transformation carries forward its story, just in a new form.

Nestled in the serene landscape of Bhimtal, this hill home by Design Consortium is gradually taking shape with a deep respect for nature, climate, and local character. Designed to blend with the contours of the land, the home embraces natural materials, open spaces, and timeless architectural elements. Every detail reflects a balance of comfort, craftsmanship, and connection to the surrounding hills, creating a retreat that feels rooted in its environment.
