Case Study:
38 year old boy who was having right hand thumb pain for past 1week.
Intensity of pain was mild about 25℅ & it was not affecting his day to day activities except tight pinching movements like to hold & lift something or typing movements.
Diagnosis: After assessment final diagnosis came up De Quervain's tenosynovitis in which one tendon of thumb get affected & patient have pain in gripping, typing & in 🤏 pinching movements.
Treatment: Treatment given like Rest with sport taping, ice, Ultrasound therapy. Asked the patient to avoid painful movements/activities causing pain.
Results: After 1st session it was almost 50℅ better, then asked the patient to continue two more sessions on alternative days.
After 3 Sessions it was completely recovered.
Asked the patient to continue some precautions, Avoid typing & heavy lifting movements.
Exercises program given for home.
Conclusion: On the last follow up visit after 3 weeks patient was alright & was able to do all his Activities without any symptoms.
