We are pleased to share the successful inauguration of the KRÜSS Surface Science Lab- APAC, jointly established by KRÜSS - Advancing your Surface Science, Germany, and Institute Of Chemical Technology and ORBIT Research Associates Pvt. Ltd., at ICT, Mumbai.

Inaugurated on 3rd February, the lab stands as a dedicated platform for advanced surface and interfacial science research, hands-on training, and application support, serving both academia and industry across the APAC region.

The inauguration was graced by our Chief Guest Dr. M. M. Sharma, Emeritus Professor of Eminence, ICT Mumbai, whose continued contributions to science and education remain deeply inspiring.

We’re delighted to share that Dr. Fiona Mary Antony, Lab Manager – APAC at KRÜSS - Advancing your Surface Science, will be speaking at the conference on Colloids and Surfactants in Industrial Applications, organized by Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in association with the Society for Industrial Chemistry and the Surface Coating Society, on 14–15 November 2025.

Her talk, “Dynamic Surface Tension: Relevance and Applications,” will explore how understanding surface dynamics plays a crucial role in optimizing formulations across industries such as coatings, cleaning, and home & personal care.

We look forward to insightful discussions that bridge fundamental interfacial science with real-world industrial applications.
