GA2026 – Financial Assistance for Participation

ICOMOS Headquarters is inviting applications for financial assistance to support participation in the 22nd ICOMOS General Assembly and Scientific Symposium 2026, to be held in Kuching, Malaysia, from 17 to 24 October 2026.

This support is intended in particular for participants from emerging economies, to facilitate broader and more inclusive international engagement in the General Assembly.

Join us for the National Symposium on Living Heritage being organised on the occasion of the 20th session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The event is being jointly organised by IGNCA – Kala Nidhi Division, in collaboration with ICOMOS India.

The symposium will bring together speakers from ICOMOS India and distinguished representatives from leading cultural and academic institutions.
