Why this all is so twisted ? Some shocking statements and excuses by the leaders after various rape incidents whom we select, elect , follow and also defend:-
1.The more nudity, the more a girl is considered fashionable. Ants will swarm the place where sugar is.”
2.“Harm can come on a person if the stars are in adverse positions…We have no answer to this, only an astrologer can predict.”
3.Boys are boys, they make mistakes.
4. “Vulgarity, obscenity and violence shown on TV channels. In many places, when the relationship between girls and boys comes out in open, it is termed as rape. Such incidents are happening everywhere.”
5.“Chowmein leads to hormonal imbalance, evoking an urge to indulge in acts such as rape and sex. You also know the impact of chowmein, which is a spicy food, on our body. Hence, our elders too advised to eat light and nutritious food.”
6. “Such crimes hardly take place in Bharat, but they occur frequently in India. Go to villages, no gang rapes or sex crimes there, they are prevalent in urban areas.”
7. “This is a social crime which depends on men and women. Sometimes it’s right, sometimes it’s wrong… Until there’s a complaint, nothing can happen.”
8. “She should have called the culprits ‘brothers’ and begged before them to stop. This could have saved her dignity and life. Can one hand clap? I don’t think so,”

We all follow, support, defend and in certain cases worship too, one or the other who made above shocking statements.
Now I am sure we know we are equal culprits and why this issue is so twisted?

मेजर राजेश सिंह अधिकारी का जन्म 25 दिसंबर 1970 को उत्तराखंड राज्य के एक खूबसूरत पहाड़ी स्थान नैनीताल के तल्लीताल में हुआ था। उन्होंने अपनी प्रारंभिक स्कूली शिक्षा सेंट जोसेफ कॉलेज, नैनीताल से, मिडिल स्कूल गवर्नमेंट इंटर कॉलेज से और 1992 में कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातक की उपाधि प्राप्त की। मेजर अधिकारी हमेशा से एक सेना अधिकारी बनना चाहते थे और उनका सपना तब साकार हुआ जब वे भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी में शामिल होने के लिए चुने गए। 11 दिसंबर 1993 को 23 वर्ष की आयु में उन्हें 2 मैकेनिकल इन्फ बटालियन में कमीशन मिला।

कारगिल युद्ध के दौरान मेजर अधिकारी को अपनी पत्नी किरण का एक पत्र मिला, जब वे 16,000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर तोलोलिंग में थे। उन्होंने इसे अपनी जेब में रख लिया और कहा, "कल ऑपरेशन खत्म होने के बाद मैं इसे शांति से पढ़ूंगा", लेकिन दुर्भाग्य से उन्हें वह पत्र पढ़ने का मौका नहीं मिला।

30 मई 1999 को, तोलोलिंग विशेषता पर कब्जा करने के लिए बटालियन संचालन के एक भाग के रूप में, 18 ग्रेनेडियर्स के साथ जुड़े मेजर राजेश सिंह अधिकारी को अपने अग्रिम Post पर कब्जा करके प्रारंभिक पैर जमाने का काम सौंपा गया, जहां दुश्मन ने एक मजबूत किलेबंद अग्रिम स्थिति बना रखी थी। यह Post लगभग 15,000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर एक खतरनाक, पहाड़ी इलाके में स्थित थी और बर्फ से ढकी हुई थी। उस रात मेजर अधिकारी ने अपने आदमियों से तीन मीटर आगे केंद्रीय हमले का नेतृत्व किया। बंकर गिर गया, लेकिन मेजर अधिकारी को गोली लग गई

इसके बाद, उन्होंने अपनी मीडियम मशीन गन (एमएमजी) टुकड़ी को एक चट्टानी आकृति के पीछे स्थिति तय करने और दुश्मन से भिड़ने का आदेश दिया। हमला दल लक्ष्य की ओर धीरे-धीरे आगे बढ़ता रहा। गंभीर गोली लगने के बावजूद मेजर अधिकारी अपने आदमियों को निर्देश देते रहे और गोलीबारी का निर्देश देते रहे। खाली होने से इनकार करते हुए उन्होंने दूसरे बंकर पर हमला किया और एक और व्यक्ति को मार डाला, इस प्रकार टोलोलिंग में दूसरे बंकर पर कब्जा कर लिया, जिसने बाद में प्वाइंट 4590 पर कब्जा करने में मदद की। मेजर अधिकारी ने घुसपैठियों को भारी नुकसान पहुंचाया और चोटों के कारण दम तोड़ने से पहले उन्हें पीछे हटने पर मजबूर कर दिया। टोलोलिंग की लड़ाई सबसे महत्वपूर्ण लड़ाइयों में से एक थी, जहां मेजर अधिकारी ने बहादुरी से लड़ाई लड़ी और अपनी जान की कीमत पर लक्ष्य हासिल किया।

मेजर राजेश सिंह अधिकारी को उनकी विशिष्ट वीरता, नेतृत्व और सर्वोच्च बलिदान के लिए मरणोपरांत "महावीर चक्र" से सम्मानित किया गया।

शोभित के पिता रवींद्र गुप्ता यूपी के शाहजहांपुर जिले के धुवला करीमनगर के एक निम्न स्तर के किसान हैं। उनके पास एक छोटा सा खेत है और मुर्गीपालन से बहुत कम आय हो पाती है। उन्होंने बेटे को पढ़ाने के लिए उधार भी लिया और अब शोभित की सफलता से वह अत्यधिक प्रस्सन हैं
