At just eight years old, Amaan Ahmed from Muscat, Oman is redefining what inclusion, confidence, and independence can look like for a visually impaired child. From excelling in mental maths and public speaking to using assistive technology and AI tools with ease, Amaan’s journey is a powerful reminder that disability does not limit potential.

A deaf and blind student scoring 98.75% in her Class 12 board exams is what accountability in education looks like. Her name is Sara Moin.
George Abraham, CEO of SCORE Foundation, congratulates Sara, her family, and her educators for this outstanding achievement and for ensuring Sara had the right support at every stage of her education.
Sara now wants to pursue higher education at a central university through CUET. Score Foundation requests the National Testing Agency to provide her with accessible exam tools including an NVDA screen reader, a refreshable Braille Orbit device, and questions in accessible digital format so that Sara can write her exam and continue the journey she has so brilliantly earned.
