Section 194T:- Payments to partners of firm
→ Applicable from 01.04.2025
→ Applicable to LLPs too
Any payment exceeding ₹20,000/- during the financial year by a firm to the partner in the nature of:-
- Salary ;
- remuneration;
- commission;
- bonus; or
- interest
→ TDS 10% will have to be deducted on
these payments.
→ TDS to be deducted at the time of credit or at the time of payment whichever is earlier.
