A single mother struggling to make ends meet, Pratiksha Tondwalkar advanced through the ranks with pure guts and perseverance.

After her husband passed away, 20-year-old Pratiksha started working as a sweeper at a Mumbai branch of SBI. Little did she know that 37 years later, she would hold a senior position at the institution.

Pratiksha used her earnings to pay for household costs and graduate from high school. She later received her degree and kept on studying. She was promoted from sweeper to clerk after demonstrating her commitment and diligence, and this process did not end there.

She later received a promotion to scale 4, then to CGM, and most recently, to AGM.
