Sikkim Update

The much-awaited Sikkimese film Shape of Momo was officially released on 28th May at Vajra Cinema in the presence of director Tribeny Rai and cast member Shyamashree Sherpa.

Sharing her thoughts during the release, director Tribeny Rai expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support towards the film, which beautifully portrays identity, relationships, and womanhood through a deeply rooted Himalayan story.

The award-winning film is all set for its theatrical release from 29th May at INOX Gangtok, alongside a pan-India and Nepal release, marking a proud moment for Sikkimese cinema on the global stage.
