Sikkim Legislative Assembly Secretariat and State Legislators Hostel observes Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge Drive.

To mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge was administered by Shri Karma P. Namgyal, Joint Secretary,Sikkim Legislative Assembly and Smt. Abi Maya Thapa, Superintendent, State Legislators Hostel, respectively.

Chandigarh, Haryana- 9th June, 2026:
Hon’ble Speaker Sikkim Legislative Assembly Shri Mingma Norbu Sherpa participated in the plenary session of the The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Conference of the India Region Zone II stressed upon the topic “Role of aware society and legislators in realising future challenges and goal of “Viksit Bharat 2047” at the conference hall of The Lalit , Chandigarh.

The conference ended with valedictory remarks, presented by Hon’ble Speaker Lok Sabha Shri Om Birla ,Hon’ble Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha Shri Harivansh, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana Professor Ashim Kumar Ghosh.

The delegates also joined for dinner at The Pinjore Garden hosted by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana Shri Nayab Singh Saini.
