Golden Heart Hospital & ACS Jabalpur recently hosted the Complex Coronary Summit 2026 – International CTO Angioplasty Workshop on June 2, 2026.

The workshop featured renowned CTO expert Prof. Gerald S. Werner (Germany) and brought together leading interventional cardiologists to discuss and perform advanced CTO interventions, highlighting the latest techniques in complex coronary revascularization.

During the workshop, Innvolution Healthcare Private Limited’s VivoHeart IVUS was utilized in multiple challenging CTO procedures, providing high-resolution intravascular imaging for lesion assessment, guidewire optimization, procedural guidance, and post-stent confirmation. In one particularly complex case, the 60 MHz HD VivoHeart IVUS enabled clear visualization of vessel architecture and identification of a true lumen entry point that was not apparent on angiography, facilitating successful CTO crossing and revascularization.

The workshop emphasized the value of intravascular imaging in facilitating procedural planning and optimization during complex CTO interventions. Throughout the live cases, VivoHeart IVUS demonstrated its high-resolution imaging and procedural guidance capabilities, which were well received by the participating operators and faculty.
