Today celebrating World Dance Day Series, students of Blue Bells School Sector 4, had mesmerising Kathak performance by Vidha Lal, where students were completely captivated and inspired by the grace and artistry of her performance! Accompanying artists were Hiren Chate on Tabla, Shuheb Hasan on vocals, and Harmonium and Amir Khan on Sarangi!

Vidha lal is known for her expressive storytelling and deep command on rhythm.

Kathakali is one of India’s most striking and dramatic classical dance traditions, known for its elaborate costumes, vivid makeup and powerful storytelling.
It originated in the southern state of Kerela around the 17th Century.

This morning Gems International School students had enthralling Kathak performance by Swati Sinha!
Swati Sinha is an accomplished Indian Kathak dancer known for her grace, expressive storytelling and strong command over rhythm.
Rooted in the rich traditions of Kathak, her performances beautifully blend technical precision with emotional depth.
Trained under reputed gurus, Swati Sinha has developed a distinctive style that reflects both the classical purity of Kathak and a contemporary sensibility.
Her dance often explores themes from Indian mythology, poetry and everyday human emotions, brought through intricate footwork, swift pirouettes ( Chakkars) and nuanced facial expressions ( abhinaya)
