DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Our security personnel will be responsible to security of men, materials, the installations, premises, properties & individuals. Other features are enumerated below:
- Checks buildings in assigned area for security and checks doors, windows, lights and equipment. Records any damage for repairs and for criminal incidents.
- Monitors fire extinguishers, other safety devices and signs for proper functioning. Reports.
- Access/Gate House Control.

- Assignments, maintain regular contact with other guards, & calls public safety officers in case of need.
- Reports lights left on in buildings, turns outside lights on and off as directed, reports burned out.

SELECTION.
It is done as per the format specially designed to meet the physical and educational standards of prospective security staff. Basic education is essential and each of our guards has studied at least up to matriculations. Besides, stress is laid on the individual’s background, verifying his past history of at least a year and employment record, with a view to root out the entry of undesirable persons. This is done through references and also from police and personal records. Utmost attention is given to the recruitment of our personnel in accordance with stringent parameters laid down by the company:

TRAINING.
Basic training in military drill is imparted and the bearing of a raw, uninitiated person is perfected. He is taught the niceties of donning a uniform, to be well groomed and well mannered. The virtues of discipline and punctuality are ingrained at an early stage. They are trained in fire-fighting drills and procedures, and correct usage and handling of fire equipment. We have experts who carry out periodic maintenance and refilling of fire extinguishers and other equipment. This extensive training is supplemented by regular refresher courses. In addition to lessons on basic guarding skills they are taught the rudiments of First Aid and self defense. Basic course and on the job training are given to individuals before their deployment as per the PSARA act. Our training centre runs courses such as basic, refreshers and specialized courses.
OPERATIONS.
Operation entail a constant vigil, lightning fast response to emergencies and continuous client feedback. Duty manuals are maintained for every post. They capture requirements specific to a post, for example switching on the lights at a particular time or closing certain gates at a designated hour. Regular feedback from every client about each guard helps us keep a sharp eye on the workings of our personnel, and refresher course are imparted on the basis of these. There are routine night checks by our dedicated night checking teams in addition to field officers and managers who carry out surprise checks each night. Monthly audits are carried out by specialized teams that report directly to the directors.
APPROACH:
Gurgaon Protection Force (GPF) training programme curriculum has been prepared based on changing international security scenario. Each guard/supervisor required to complete the basic training successfully. All courses culminate in written, oral and practical examination and successful guards/supervisors are given a certificate.
SUPERVISION:
In order to provide quality service GPF gives immense importance on the ground supervision. In this regard, a professional operation team comprising managers, supervisor, night patrolling team, and mobile supervisors carry out checks on all our assignments and guards on a 24/7 basis. Senior executives also carry out surprise checks at the client site at regular intervals.
GOVERNMENT REGULATION:
Each guarding personnel is guided through his/her rights and responsibilities within the parameter of the company’s policy GPF adheres to all necessary compliances of the government like PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, National and gazette holidays. Each employee of GPF is entitled to 12 CL and 15
privileges leave/paid holidays also. The company also follows the minimum wage policy as directed by the governing state government/boards.
ROUND THE CLOCK CONTROL ROOM. In order to provide the quality service to its clients, the company has developed a concept of 24/7 control room. A trained and experienced controller is positioned in control room who receives messages, analyzes and then informs the concerned person. This acts as a single point command and communication center beyond office hours.
