Had fun exploring Magic Squares last weekend. Was amazed at patterns hidden in the vedic squares, including the structure of platinum crystal and linkages to Islamic art!
Came across this problem and I got to a solution I don't like - can someone find a solution from the book?
A lord had 10 guests for dinner. Each guest gave his hat to a valet. The lord is a practical joker. After the dinner he asked his valet to give the hats back so that none of the guests gets his own hat. How many ways are there to do it?

Video of sessions on Fibonacci Sequences in Nature. This was an amazing topic for me, because while I had "learnt" about fibonacci numbers and their presence in nature, I had never really experimented with it myself! The questions were amazing, and the fact that we did this over three separate sessions increased the understanding. "Why aren't our cities designed around fibonacci numbers for optimal packing!?" - am still left with this question :-)
BTW, Khan academy has great videos on Fibonacci Numbers - check them out!
