We kick started our Manali trip with a visit to most famous tourist spot - Hidimba temple - named after Lady Hidimba, wife of Bhima, mother of Ghatotkacha in Mahabharata.

Hidimba temple was very near to our hotel and is easily approachable on foot, bicycle, motorcycle or a car. While traveling by car, parking is a big issue. Being the most famous tourist spot, it was clad with tourists and localites equally who lined up for a visit inside the temple building.. this place is beautiful, peaceful and serene, must visit when in Manali..
