Binary 101 is finally here! This year we are looking to create a coding community instead of a teaching course like we did last year.

Our first stayback is tmrw after school. If any of you are interested in joining the club inbox us by today(Apologies for the late post)!

To conclude this post I would like to quote Narendra Modi while he stood in front of Hugh Jackman: "May the force be with you".

Yours,
The Binary 101 Team.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been using a software called 'Scratch' to introduce basic problem-solving and programming concepts. It is designed to help people, having little to no experience, understand the power of programming. Using Scratch, even complete beginners can share and distribute their work on the internet. It has changed the face of programming, which had earlier been infamous for being 'boring' and 'nerdy'.

Nowadays, learning programming is very similar to learning an art.
Writing good programs requires more of creativity, style and wit, as opposed to recalling large and complex statements.

In this article, the creators of Scratch talk about principles that guided their development of Scratch to make programming accessible and engaging for everyone.
