Notification regarding holiday.

A 6-Day Training Programme on Event Management is being conducted from 18th May 2026 to 23rd May 2026, organised by the Nazarath Department, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, in association with Nature Tech Vision Private Ltd.

The training programme aims to equip participants with practical knowledge and professional skills in event planning, coordination, and management, fostering capacity building and employment opportunities among the youth.

The programme is being enriched by the presence and expertise of distinguished resource persons and trainers:

• Subashish Sinha – Principal i/c, Sengya Sambudhan Phonglo Institute, Diyungbra
• Ranu Baruwa – Resource Person (also a Freelancer Journalist)
• Ujjwal Mahanta – Trainer

Heartfelt condolences on the passing of Thianga Nampui, Ex- EM, Chairman, DHAC. He was elected as a Member of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, from Khartong Constituency. During his long political career, he also served as the Hon’ble Chairman and Executive Member of the NC Hills District Council. Later, he took charge as the Chairman of the Haflong Town Committee.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Cultural Extravaganza Night on the event of 75th Dima Hasao Autonomous Council Foundation Day will be starting soon at DHAC Compound.

Entrance Examination for Dima Hasao Super 30 and Dima Hasao Med Prep Programme was successfully conducted at Haflong Govt. College on the 10th of May,2026.
