I have installed a 5 kWh rooftop solar panel system at my residence under the Central Government’s “Surya Ghar” scheme.

After the installation, I submitted the required application online on 18 November 2025.
To my pleasant surprise, the subsidy amount of ₹78,000 was directly credited to my bank account by the Central Government on 25 November 2025 – that is, within just one week of submission!

It is well known that receiving refunds or grants from government departments can often be a long and challenging process. However, the speed and efficiency with which the subsidy was disbursed under this scheme is truly commendable.

Heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the Government of India and the implementing authorities for their prompt and efficient action!

This experience has boosted my confidence in the system and will encourage more people to adopt solar energy and embrace clean and sustainable power. 🌱⚡
