🌱 Building Sustainable Communities through Cluster-Based Development🌾

On 28th and 29th October 2025, the Deshpande Foundation field team underwent an intensive training on our new initiatives focusing on cluster-based community development.

Under this approach, our efforts will address the specific needs of each cluster, with a strong emphasis on:
✅ Natural farming practices – including vermicompost and bio-inputs
💧 Water security through farm ponds, check dams, water storage structures, and pond rejuvenation
🌳 Social forestry
🐄 Fodder development for livestock sustainability
🛰️ Integration of GIS and drone technology for data-driven rural planning
🌾 And other need-based projects that uplift local livelihoods

With this rigorous training, our field team is all set to begin ground-level implementation across North Karnataka and South Maharashtra.

We aim to strengthen community-led development by collaborating with grassroots organizations, local institutions, and rural communities to create sustainable livelihood opportunities.
