*Last Day, Best Day.*

Today marked our last working day before the summer break, and we made sure it was truly magical!

The day was filled with laughter and wonder as one of our teachers turned into a magician and put up a surprise magic show. Gasps, giggles, and wide-eyed amazement filled the room as our little ones watched the tricks unfold.

Along with the magic, children enjoyed fun activities and grooved to lively music in our mini dance party. All the children of the play school also enjoyed eating their snacks together in an open area, sharing smiles and sunshine.

The joy on their faces said it all, what a perfect way to end the term.

As we head into summer holidays, we wish all our children and parents a safe, happy, and refreshing break. See you all soon with new stories to share!

WORLD EARTH DAY

“The Earth does not belong to us; we belong to the Earth. Let us nurture it with love and protect it with care.”
The theme for Earth Day 2026 is “Our Power, Our Planet “.
Our planet Earth, with its abundant natural beauty and life-sustaining resources, is truly a blessing. However, it also calls for our responsibility and care. To instill this awareness from an early age, World Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal by the tiny tots of the Sister Nivedita Play school on April 22nd.

The celebration began with a cheerful welcome and a short introduction about Earth Day. Teachers explained in simple words how our Earth gives us air, water, food, and a beautiful place to live, and why we must take care of it.

The principal of the school Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari graced the occasion.
The programme began with a simple skit presented by our tiny tots of Balvatika 2 and 3, it was a magnificent and beautifully portrayed the journey from decay to restoration, continued with a melodious song. It was not just a song, it was a soulful journey through nature's wonders, followed by a dance. The children were so precise and expressive, they impressed everyone with their graceful moves.

The main attraction of the program was when our Principal and Coordinators added their colorful handprints to our Earth Day promise board. This special gesture showed our children that caring for the Earth begins with our leaders, together with us.
With handprints, pledges, and happy hearts, we all joined hands to care for our environment and save the Earth for our future.

The principal ma'am appreciated the tiny tots as ` little change makers’,
and said no hand is too small to make a difference. She called them Eco - warriors. She appreciated the efforts of teachers for organising such meaningful activities.

The Chairman of the school Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani, and the Correspondent of the school, Rtn.Hari Haraprasad, expressed to continue the green habits every day beyond just one day. To remember every day is Earth day when we respect our planet. Together let's raise a generation that loves and protects our Mother Earth.

The event concluded successfully
by encouraging everyone to start at least one “green habit”, such as refusing single use of plastic and saving water. Also by planting and growing more trees.
