Aaraish is a traditional lime-based wall finish shaped by time, material science, and skilled craftsmanship. Prepared from slaked lime matured through a natural curd–jaggery fermentation process, the material gains enhanced workability, adhesion, and long-term durability—well beyond modern ready-mix systems.

Applied in multiple lime layers and finished by hand with Akeek (Agate) stone polishing, the surface is mechanically densified to achieve a soft satin sheen, subtle tonal depth, and increased abrasion resistance. The process allows the wall to remain breathable, low in VOCs, and structurally resilient as it continues to harden through carbonation.

Free from synthetic polymers, Aaraish responds beautifully to light, ages gracefully, and brings a quiet, material-led luxury to architectural spaces.
