Outnumbered, outgunned, and surrounded, Manipuri warriors fought with unmatched bravery. Armed with swords, spears, and an unbreakable spirit, they charged against modern rifles and artillery—not for victory, but for honour, identity, and freedom.

At the heart of this resistance stood Major General Paona Brajabasi. Even when defeat was certain, he refused to bow. When asked to surrender, his answer was action—he fought till his final breath, choosing death over submission. His ex*****on marked the fall of the battlefield, but the rise of a legend.

The Battle of Khongjom ended the independence of Manipur and led to British rule.
Yet history remembers this war not as a loss—but as a symbol of fearless resistance.

Because some wars are not fought to win…
They are fought to prove that a people will never kneel.
