ABDM Manipur

The Government of India has appointed Dr. Piyush Singla, a 2012-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, as Director in the National Health Authority (NHA) under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).

Previously serving as Secretary in Jammu & Kashmir’s Information Technology Department, Piyush Singla is expected to support ABDM’s operational and policy priorities as India accelerates digital health adoption nationwide.

The National Health Authority is the implementing agency for ABDM, the government’s flagship healthcare digitization programme focused on interoperable health records, digital health IDs, and seamless healthcare data exchange across the ecosystem.

In reference to State Actionable Points of Chitan Shivir held on 19th – 20th January, 2026, National
Health Authority (NHA), all health facilities in the state should adopt an ABDM-enabled HMIS. For
adoption of ABDM-enabled HMIS in the health facilities of Manipur, an online training cm orientation on
e-Sushrut developed by CDAC was organised on 12th May 2026 for PHCs (as 1st
Phase).
