Promoting sustainability in the MSME sector. Through the MSE SPICE Scheme, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is enabling MSMEs to adopt Circular Economy practices, improve recycling, and support India’s global sustainability commitments.

RAMP, a World Bank supported Central Sector Scheme aimed to improve access of MSMEs to market, finance and technology upgradation.

The RAMP Programme is empowering MSMEs to enhance competitiveness, foster entrepreneurship, and drive sustainable growth.

A meeting was held at MTI HUB on 8th May 2026, led by Mr. Rex Ngangom and SPIU team members along with members of the Manipur MSME Health Clinic. The meeting focused on the Logistics Strengthening Scheme and was attended by MSMEs under MTI.

During the interaction session, the participants were briefed on the scheme guidelines, benefits, and application process. Eligible MSMEs were also provided with application forms to avail the scheme benefits.

Under the scheme, MSMEs in Manipur can avail reimbursement of one-third of the transportation cost, subject to a maximum limit of ₹1.5 lakh per MSME.

Further, detailed information regarding the Logistics Strengthening Scheme, Interest Subvention Scheme for women-owned MSMEs, and the Manipur MSME Health Clinic under RAMP was shared with the participants.

An Awareness Programme on the Logistics Strengthening Scheme under the RAMP Programme was successfully held on 07/05/2026, at Kuraopokpi Industrial Estate with the participation of enterprise members under the Kuraopokpi Industrial Estate Association.

The team members also interacted with the participating enterprises and shared detailed information regarding eligibility, application procedures, and scheme benefits.

Ms K. Saza, Technology & DPR Expert, delivered an insightful presentation on strengthening logistics systems to enhance business efficiency and market access.

Ms Dahiiru Ngade, Scheme Navigation Expert, elaborated on the Interest Subvention scheme, highlighting its role in reducing financial burden and improving access to credit for entrepreneurs.

The programme was further enriched by the Special Address of Ms. Nenia Florence, Lead District Manager, Senapati, who emphasized the importance of financial inclusion, institutional support, and proactive engagement of entrepreneurs with banking services.

The session aimed to empower local entrepreneurs with knowledge, promote sustainable enterprise development, and strengthen the overall economic ecosystem of the district.
