The National Testing Agency (NTA) has cancelled the NEET UG 2026 exam held on May 3 following allegations of a “guess paper” leak and concerns over the integrity of the examination process.

The Government of India has ordered a CBI investigation into the alleged leak and related malpractice. Reports suggest over 45 people have been detained in Rajasthan so far.
NTA confirmed that the exam will be conducted again on new dates to be announced soon. Students will not need to register again, and existing application details and exam centres will remain valid.

Candidates have been advised to rely only on official updates as authorities move forward with the re-examination and investigation.
