The Manipur Meitei-Pangal Welfare Organisation (MMWO) expresses deep sorrow and heartfelt concern over the unfortunate incidents and conflicts that took place among different communities in Manipur on 3rd May. These incidents have caused immense suffering to innocent people, including men, women, and children, leading to loss of lives and severe hardships.

In our beloved land of Manipur, various groups and communities were affected by the violence that erupted on 3rd May. Since then, many painful and distressing situations have continued to unfold, creating fear, instability, and sorrow among the people. Such acts of violence have deeply impacted the social harmony and unity of our society.

MMWO strongly believes that peace, unity, and mutual understanding among all communities are essential for the progress and stability of Manipur. We urge all sections of society to come together, rise above differences, and work collectively towards restoring peace and normalcy in the state.

We also appeal to the authorities and all concerned to take necessary steps to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future and to ensure justice and security for all citizens.

We remember with deep sympathy those who have lost their lives, those who have been injured, and families who have been displaced or have lost their homes and livelihoods. MMWO extends its heartfelt condolences and support to all affected individuals and families.

Let us all pray and work together for lasting peace and harmony in Manipur.

The Manipur Meitei–Pangal Welfare Organisation (MMWO) pays its deepest respect and solemn tribute on the occasion of Khongjom Day, remembering the valiant heroes and unsung martyrs of the Anglo-Manipur War.

On this historic day, we honour the courage, sacrifice, and indomitable spirit of those brave sons and daughters of our motherland who fought fearlessly to defend the sovereignty and dignity of Manipur. Their supreme sacrifices remain a guiding light for generations, reminding us of the true meaning of patriotism and unity.

MMWO also extends heartfelt respect to all the unsung heroes whose contributions may not be recorded in history, yet whose bravery and dedication are deeply embedded in the spirit of our land.

Let us remember their sacrifices with pride and continue to uphold the values they stood forβ€”peace, unity, and justice.

Salute to our brave heroes and unsung martyrs.
May their sacrifices never be forgotten.
