DU ADMISSION FIRST CUT OFF DATES TO BE RELEASED TODAY OR TOMORROW

The date for the Delhi University (DU) admission cut- off dates for the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions expected to be released by today or tomorrow. The notification regarding the release of the list would be available on the official site of Delhi University at du.ac.in. Earlier it was stated by the officials that the cut-offs would probably be released by October second week.

But today Shobha Bagai, Dean (Admissions)of DU said, “We will be releasing the dates by today or tomorrow.

For undergraduate courses in Delhi University, as many as 5.63 lakh students had registered on the official portal.

The Officials from DU earlier stated the cut-offs will be higher than last year as many students have scored above 95 per cent from CBSE Board 12th examinations. The numbers of students scoring above 95 per cent in CBSE have increased from 17,690 in 2019 to 38,686 in 2020.

The cut-offs will be higher in the first and second lists than last year. There is a lot of unpredictability also.

IT ministry had received complaints from various sources, including several reports about misuse of some mobile apps available on Android and iOS platforms for stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users' data to servers outside India...
